ERI Newsletter Submission Guidelines
Indiana local governments, businesses, organizations and the general public are invited to submit news, media, resources, opportunities, jobs and events directly related to preparing Hoosier communities to be resilient in the face of environmental change for consideration in one of our e-newsletters. Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis.
To submit an item for consideration, email firstname.lastname@example.org, with "newsletter submission" in the subject line.
In an effort to keep posts timely, submissions older than three months will not be accepted. No item will be considered without a valid URL.
News & Media
Items must feature an organization, government, business, farm or community group that has completed an initiative to make their community more sustainable, resilient, or prepared for climate change impacts. Stories will only be accepted if they have been published within the past three months. Photos, images or other related media are encouraged with submission.
Resources must be accessible online and have been released within the past three months. Examples include climate change reports, how-to guides, databases, white papers, websites and newsletters.
Opportunities that are related to helping Indiana improve its resilience in the face of environmental change will be included. Examples include workshops, surveys, volunteer opportunities and funding prospects.
Events must be open to Indiana residents, and be relevant to a regional geography, greater than one municipality or county. Events will a local geographic focused are preferred.
Jobs must be directly related to preparing Hoosier communities to be resilient in the face of environmental change, and must have sustainability and/or resilience concepts as part of the job description. Full and part-time jobs, as well as internships will be considered. Academic postings will not be included.
The ERI Newsletter Submission Guidelines may be modified as determined appropriate by the Environmental Resilience Institute. The goal of the e-newsletter is to communicate and share resources and best practices to facilitate mitigation and climate change preparedness in Indiana. ERI may determine that some e-newsletter submissions are not relevant to this mission and will not be included.
