We are developing tools and resources.
The Environmental Resilience Institute’s teams not only are studying ways to adapt to environmental change, but are providing Indiana residents with real-world solutions to help them prepare their homes, farms, businesses and communities.
For example, tools to forecast changes in climate, including rainfall and drought, inform strategies to make decisions about future agriculture or business options.
Migration mapping shows us how vector-borne illness spreads from other parts of the country.
Surveys tell us how people perceive environmental change and point to ways to better inform – and prepare – our citizens for coming changes.
