The institute is developing a suite of interactive data visualization tools with which users can combine the many kinds of data about the state of Indiana produced by ERI to develop novel solutions to problems posed by environmental change.
This project is in collaboration with the Polis Center at IUPUI, the Indiana Geological and Water Survey, Research Analytics and University Information Technology Services at Indiana University.
Data range from the U.S. Census to ERI researchers’ own projects. An early tool in this suite will be the Environmental Resilience Institute Toolkit, or ERIT, an Indiana-specific version of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Change Adaptation Resource Center.
All of the ERI working group researchers are contributing to this project.
