Project Greenspace

Project Greenspace

This project is employing social and vegetation surveys of existing urban neighborhood plantings in Indianapolis to understand social-ecological feedbacks of urban eco-restoration action (e.g., biodiversity-ecosystem functioning-social functioning relationships).

In year one, we will establish longitudinal data sites at 24 locations/neighborhoods across the city and develop a social survey instrument and vegetation survey protocols.

This project is part of the Urban Green Infrastructure working group.
