The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) and Indiana University’s Environmental Resilience Institute (ERI) invite "Beat the Heat" program applications from city, town, and county governments in Indiana that are non-entitlement communities. The program will help two Indiana local governments develop and implement heat relief strategies and response protocols. The "Beat the Heat" program will provide participants with funding to support a new full-time staff member for two years and costs associated with program activities. More information about the program is available on the Beat the Heat program webpage.
OCRA and ERI will host an informational webinar from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm ET on Monday, March 15 to further discuss the program, application process and answer any questions. Register for the webinar.
Applications are due Friday, March 26, 2021.
