ERIT Navigation Tips
Tip # 1 – Finding What You Want
The Environmental Resilience Institute Toolkit provides two ways for users to navigate the site:
- To explore climate mitigation and adaptation information by a particular region of the country, we recommend that you Tailor Your Search. This method will provide a package of information gathered from all parts of ERIT.
- The navigation menu on the left side of the screen allows you to explore particular topics in more detail.
Tip #2 – Tailor Your Search: Select a U.S. Geographic Region & Area of Interest
When using the Tailor Your Search feature, you must select a U.S. geographic region and at least one area of interest. Click “Search” and the results will appear on the same page.
Tip #3 – Tailor Your Search: Results
The results section is composed of two sections:
- Environmental Change in Your Region – This section provides information on how environmental change is impacting your region.
- Results Tailored to Your Interests – This section provides a package of information tailored to the area(s) of interest you selected. The information is presented in dropdown accordions. Select the plus sign to expand an accordion.
Tip #4 – Tailor Your Search: Starting a New Search
After completing a Tailor Your Search search, you can begin a new search by scrolling up on the same page.
