Robert H. McKinney, chairman of the board of directors, McKinney Family Foundation
"The Brabson Library and Educational Foundation supports projects that propose novel ideas in learning, ones that are not always found in the formal education sphere. The ambitious project proposed by IU’s Educating for Environmental Change is called 'New Curricular Materials for 21st Century Education.' The Brabson Foundation Board was delighted to provide support for the development of a set of four workshops for teachers coupled with climate-related curricular materials. These workshops and materials greatly expand the reach of climate science into the K-12 curriculum. Society’s success in addressing climate change depends directly on educational efforts like this."
