To help Indiana leaders make informed decisions and prepare for future climate change impacts, the Environmental Resilience Institute develops tools and resources that directly address the concerns of Hoosier communities.

These tools include targeted data on the risks Hoosiers will face as the climate changes, steps that can be taken to mitigate the effects of change, and reliable information covering environmental resilience topics.

• Indiana Resilience Funding Hub
  The Indiana Resilience Funding Hub (IRFH), jointly administered by ERI and the IU Center for Rural Engagement, helps Hoosier communities pursue federal funding opportunities for climate, energy, and resilience projects.
• Environmental Resilience Institute Toolkit
  The Environmental Resilience Institute Toolkit (ERIT) helps local governments in the Midwest prepare for climate change by providing information tailored to their communities. Decision-makers can create an integrated package of information tailored specifically to their community and their needs.
• Hoosier Resilience Index
  The Hoosier Resilience Index (HRI) is a tool to help local governments in Indiana understand the path to making their communities more resilient to climate change impacts. This decision-making tool will present risks specific to communities; provide information on which risks may be most harmful; guide communities as they evaluate progress towards resilience; and offer assistance in making decisions leading to greater resilience. 
• Renewable energy development
  ERI and the Great Plains Institute worked with experts and local stakeholders to develop Indiana-specific resources for local decision makers planning for renewable energy.
• Resilient food systems
  To build more sustainable, equitable, and resilient food systems, ERI is leading and contributing to multiple efforts in Indiana to build up regional food networks within the state.

• Data resources
  ERI researchers are gathering, analyzing, and disseminating data that illustrates how Indiana’s environment is changing. On the data resources page, users can view data tools and resources curated and created by the ERI.
• Hoosier Life Survey
  The Hoosier Life Survey (HLS) is Indiana's most comprehensive statewide public-opinion survey on environmental change. Users can view high-level results of the survey through ERI's interactive opinion map.
• Indiana Green City Mapper 
  The Indiana Green City Mapper is a spatial database of urban green infrastructure, socioeconomic data, and climate change data that enables communities to increase their environmental resilience and better address social needs.

• Fact Sheets
  ERI's fact sheets address an array of topics related to climate and resilience in an accessible format that's free to distribute.
• Immersive climate stories
  Through a collaboration with the IU Advanced Visualization Lab, ERI leveraged extended reality and artificial intelligence software to give viewers a novel storytelling experience exploring climate change impacts and solutions.
