Indiana is full of individuals who are working to make Hoosier communities and the state more resilient in the face of environmental change. Each year, the Environmental Resilience Institute recognizes a few of these individuals by naming them a Hoosier Resilience Hero.
Nominations for 2021 Hoosier Resilience Heroes are open now through March 1. Individuals can nominate an Indiana resident by filling out and submitting an online form.
Hoosier Resilience Heroes are found in every corner of the state and from every walk of life. They are leaders at schools, churches, nonprofits, and local governments. Their efforts are inspiring others to think about climate change, address environmental inequity, and take action to prepare for environmental change.
